Okay so whenever I wake up for school, I’m tired as poop! So I just keeps shutting off my alarm to sleep resulting in making me late! How can I get up the first time my alarm goes off like just popping out of bed without feeling tired.

PS- my mom won’t let me drink coffee or anything caffenated in the mornings :(

probaly ur get used to it or if dat doesnt work try 2 go 2 sleep a bit earlier

I wake up at 5.

Then I turn on my tv (Charmed is usually on and it’s my 2nd favorite show haha)

then I lie in bed watching it, and it I usually end up getting up at 5:22 even though I don’t have to wake up until 5:45

or set your alarm 30 minutes early, get up and hit “snooze” then get up for real when it goes off again.

Works for me :D

try to get a little more than 8 hours of sleep. (the amount of sleep you need changes as you age) normally if you get less than 8, you wake up a little groggy. also thin curtains. heavycurtains block out the light tricking your body into thinking it’s still “sleep time” when it’s really “gt up and get ready for school time”

how much sleep do you get a night? Cause if you don’t get enough then that could be a cause.

What i do is set my alarm much earlier than i need to wake up, then i put it on a snooze and after it goes off a few times i’ll be awake at the time i should wake up.
Another waker upper is taking a shower in the morning, Get up to your alarm and right away take a shower, the shower will wake you up.

this always used to happen to me, these are some ideas you could try:

*just force yourself to just sit up when your alarm goes off: it works!
*after getting up, flash cold water on your face (or a cold/lukewarm shower)
*exercise a bit?
*try to set your alarm on ’snooze’ mode: if you press the button, itll just go off 5 minutes later
*get one of those funny alarm clocks such as the ‘running alarm clock’, or the ‘puzzle alarm clock’ where you have to get up and catch it, or solve the puzzle for the alarm to turn off.
