wake up easy

StephanieA asked:
it’s summer right now so i get a lot… but during the school year i leave at about 615, so i like to get up at 430. i prefer to have a lot of time to get ready…
so how what time should i go to bed? and i have a lot of trouble falling asleep before 11.

and no matter how much sleep i get, i just hate waking up and i fall back asleep. how can i wake up easier?

And i know i just asked this but i accidentally put it in the pregnancy category

You could take sleeping pills but its better to avoid pills and medicines
,but what i would do is try lying in bed at 9 or so and try to fall asleep for a couple of weeks and maybe you’ll get used to going to bed that early!
Best of luck !!

You sound like myself, I hate to crawl out of a warm bed in the morning when all I want to do is snuggle on down in my blankets and pretend that I don’t have a job or kids to wake up for. I also have a hard time falling asleep before 11:00 pm. I try to establish a routine to help get to bed early and wake up earlier for work and school. Being a parent I try to establish the routine as a rule. No computer or TV after 10. I personally like to shower in the evening and try to at least be in bed by 10:30, I will likely read a book. I also need to wear ear-plugs when I’m sleeping and I also have this thing that plays the sound of light falling rain. If you work out try not to do it too late in the evening, I feel as if I’m going to be up all night if I work out after 7. If I follow through with my routine I usually fall asleep before 12, around 11:30ish. The hard part is the morning! I set my alarm 15 minutes before the actual time that I want to be up, and I have to move it away from me so that I have to physically get out of the bed! Or else ill snooze it for about 40 mins. As soon as you are up, stay up! I need to start my day with coffee and a cold water splash, I also tell myself that I will feel so much better if I take my time getting ready for work. I don’t know if any of this wil help you, considering what time you want to get up maybe you can try to run your routine between 10-11? Anyhow, hope your mornings work out for you!

erm if you’re getting up at 4:30 (owch!) then you should really be aiming for at least 10ish.

try a mug of haulicks, turning all the lights off, and meditating :)

also watch this vid

the first bit about holding your hands together is irelevant but kinda cool. after that he goes on about a relaxation technique which might be worth a try.
